The short version
Who can use a link or code, and how often?
The two most important rules are easy to mix up:
You: usually only as a new customer
Use the link or code when you create your first account with that provider. If you already have an account there, you usually won’t get the new-customer bonus.
The link: often works for several friends
A referral link usually doesn’t disappear after one use. Several different friends can often use it one after another — as long as each person is new to the provider.
Important: Every offer has its own terms. Before signing up, check the profile to see who gets what and what each person needs to do.
