Which profile data is visible
Your display name, username, profile photo, the number of accepted friends, and that friends list are publicly visible on your profile page. Visitors can open your profile and your friends’ profiles.
Your invite links and codes are separate: only you and accepted friends can see them.
If you mark a welcome or referral bonus as received, your accepted friends can see that transaction — including the amount.
Friendships
When you accept a friendship or connect via an invite link, we store that connection. It is included in the public friend count and friends list on the profiles involved.
Invites and emails
If you invite someone by email, we store the email address, invite status, and technical timestamps so the invite can be delivered, resent, and matched after sign-up.
Delete your account yourself
You can delete your own account directly in friend-referrals.
- After logging in, open your profile from the profile menu and go to “Profile”.
- Scroll to “Delete account” and click “Delete account completely”.
- Only confirm the prompt if you really want to permanently delete the account.
- After deletion, we redirect you to an optional Tally feedback form.
When you delete your account, we remove your login, profile, links and codes, friendships, notifications, and the related user data. Legal retention obligations and technically necessary logs may remain unaffected.
Technical processing
We use cookies and similar technologies to provide login and sessions. For authentication, database, hosting, email, and contact forms we may use providers such as Supabase, Netlify, Resend, and Tally.
